A friendly guesthouse in a secluded beach in kannur, North Kerala.
For a total escape, head 10 kms. south to the very warm and welcoming costa malabari, Kannur, North Kerala. Hidden deep in the cashew and coconut groves, the informal house has four airy and comfortable rooms, and you are served outstanding home cooked Malabari cuisine and seafood.
 
Five minutes walk away are two private golden beaches, where you can swim out to the mussel fishermen and dolphins. This is an ideal base if you want to catch some local temple rituals.” The Rough Guide October 2001.
Situated near Kannur, on Cochin-Mysore/Cochin-Goa route. The beach consistes of three palm-fringed coves separated from each others by laterite cliffs. Good surf with golden sand and safe places to swim. The seashore is beautiful and the village, quiet and friendly, with just a few families.
 
Nestled among tropical plants and coconut groves, accommodation is arranged in a homely 5 bedroom guest house. All the rooms have mosquito zappers and attached baths with hot water.  Serving home cooked breakfast, lunch and supper with fresh seafood specialities.
 
Daily four trains from Cochin to Kannur (6 hours journey), two buses from Mysore to Kannur (6 hours journey) and 5 trains from Mangalore (3 hours journey). Daily two buses from Kannur to Mysore, three trains to Goa (12 hours journey) and four trains to Cochin ( 6 hours journey). Pick up facility is provided from Kannur railway station and bus station with prior information.

Beach Facing Room: Rs 3500 / 2 persons / night with all meals including taxes
Non Beach Facing Room: Rs 3000 / 2 persons / night with all meals including taxes
meals consists of vegitarian dishes + fishes for non vegitarian guests. No meat served.
