One of the most sought after honeymoon destinations in Kerala.
Blackberry Hills is one of the most sought after honeymoon destinations in Kerala. Its very natural ambience, own trekking path, magnificent view, curves and corners of the vast plantation area, rejuvenating special recipes etc may be the reasons behind its demand. Now we have converted two of its cottages specially for honeymoon couples.

The winding pathways of Munnar are tempting to bike. Our Front Office Manger will arrange you bikes at a nominal rent. A set of cute cottages nestling against the backdrop of Western Ghats cut off from the hubbubs of habitual life.

Blackberry Hills offers you a magnificent view of Sahya Mountain Ranges. A winding pathway leads you to the privacy of your ethnic cottage furnished to tempt you. Watch the spectacular sunrise through your bedroom window, or sunset from your balcony.

Feel the life flourishing in the far-flung plantation village of the valley below. Catch the clouds with one hand while plucking black plum with the other. 18 cottages each with individual pathways nestling against Sahya mountain range.

6 Garden Studio rooms, 6 Garden Suite cottages and 6 Villa Suite cottages. Garden Suites and Villa Suites have a living room with dining area in addition to bed room and balcony.

At Blackberry Hills, we have kept a terracotta diffuser in each cottage. Natural extract as desired/required by you is also kept in a 30 ml bottle.

Pour the mixture into the dip of the diffuser and lit the specially made candle inside it.

Walk into the cute cottage. Before getting enough time to admire the fine furniture and great works of ethnic paintings on the wall, you are drawn to the balcony, facing a vast valley, from where you can watch the mountains whisper sweet nothings to the mist-drenched valley…a balcony from where you can watch Munnar in its entirety. Its tea plantations, water falls, tropical forests…

Blackberry Hills has a good collection of paintings done on wood, canvas, leather and terracotta by some of the very famous Mural artists of Kerala. All the cottages have a few of these paintings. Also our reception foyer and restaurant display a few. You may simply admire them or buy.

Food at Blackberry Hills is served as buffet at Sisal, our multi cuisine restaurant near the reception foyer. Deluxe and Luxury cottages have a dining area and food can be sent to the cottage in hot packs. At special occasions, dinner also will be served in the club house. Hornbill, another multi cuisine restaurant is being completed at the cottage level with exclusive open air terraces for dining. Our chef will introduce you to cuisines of Kerala, from short eats to elaborate sadya (traditional festival food served in plantain leaves). At occasions, he will take cookery classes for those who are interested.

The restaurant is made of wood, terracota and steel. The decor is simple but highly inspiring. Modesty stop us from claiming this to be the most beautiful restaurnat in the world as some of our guests suggested. This must be one among the best. The design merges well with the ambience.
